Making pork chops doesn’t have to be hard! This dish makes it easy by keeping it all in one pan and saving time without compromising the taste. It’s also low-carb and keto-friendly with a good mix of protein, fat, and vegetables.
Pork chops provide more benefits than just tasting amazing. Pork is a favored protein and meat option for those on the keto diet as it is an excellent source of protein and iron. It also contains abundant amounts of vitamins B6 and B12, essential for energy production and brain function.
Pork also has a higher fat content than beef, chicken, or fish resulting in incredibly tender, juicy meat. The creamy gravy takes advantage of this and provides a rich and savory flavor with garlic and rosemary.
Pork chops pair well with green beans; however, feel free to substitute them with other vegetables like asparagus, cabbage, or broccoli. Note this will slightly change this recipe’s nutritional content.
This dish is best served with the gravy drizzled over the pork chops alongside the green beans. You can also keep it for leftovers, but remember to keep the gravy in a separate container and drizzle straight before eating, so the green beans don’t get soggy.
