Low Carb Corndogs

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Sausages I used 2 hotdogs, 2 pre-cooked chicken sausages
  • 1 ½ Cups Oil of Your Choice
  • 1 Cup Almond Meal
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp. Ms. Dash Table Blend
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp. Turmeric
  • ½ tsp. Kosher Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Cayenne Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Mix together your almond meal and spices.
  • Mix your egg, heavy cream and baking powder into the mixture.
  • In a sauce pan, heat 1 1/2 Cup Oil to 400F.
  • Dip your hotdogs and/or sausages into the mixture.
  • Drop them into the oil, completely coated in batter.
  • Fry on each side for about 2 minutes per side.
  • Remove and rest on paper towels to get rid of excess grease.
