Low Carb Corndogs
Per hotdog and 1 fritter, you are looking at 493.75 Calories, 45.93g Fats, 4.52g Net Carbs, and 15.4g Protein.
- 4 Sausages I used 2 hotdogs, 2 pre-cooked chicken sausages
- 1 ½ Cups Oil of Your Choice
- 1 Cup Almond Meal
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 Tbsp. Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp. Ms. Dash Table Blend
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- ½ tsp. Turmeric
- ½ tsp. Kosher Salt
- ¼ tsp. Cayenne Pepper
Mix together your almond meal and spices.
Mix your egg, heavy cream and baking powder into the mixture.
In a sauce pan, heat 1 1/2 Cup Oil to 400F.
Dip your hotdogs and/or sausages into the mixture.
Drop them into the oil, completely coated in batter.
Fry on each side for about 2 minutes per side.
Remove and rest on paper towels to get rid of excess grease.
