Ingredients
  

Goulash:

  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1 medium red bell pepper
  • 4 ounce celeriac
  • 4 ounce butter
  • 2 teaspoon fresh garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 10 ounce crushed tomatoes
  • ¾ cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 32 ounce beef chunk roast cut into 1/2 pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste

Butter-Fried Cabbage:

  • 32 ounce green cabbage shredded
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Measure out and prepare all of the ingredients. Chop the onion and red bell pepper.
  • Add all of the ingredients for the goulash to a crock pot.
  • Add in the seasonings. Cook for 8 hours on low.
  • In a frying pan, add the butter and green cabbage until cabbage is tender and golden brown in color. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the cooked goulash with the green cabbage. Enjoy!
